Join Hunkapi Programs for Horse-Heart Connection for Parents

We are excited to announce that we will be offering simultaneous parenting classes for those with children already participating in our life skills and equine-assisted therapy programming. These classes will focus on hands-on parenting techniques, including:

• Setting boundaries effectively
• Understanding the fight-flight-freeze response
• Recognizing and managing your nervous system's reactions to your child's behavior, such as during temper tantrums or attention-seeking actions
• Techniques to de-stress and improve parenting effectiveness

*Max 12 participants

*This group is also open to Group Home Managers.

Group Requirements:

• You must have a child currently enrolled at Hunkapi or planning to enroll in services through AHCCCS.
• You do not qualify for our program services.
• Participation at all sessions.
