Inside of an arena filled with horses, surrounded by a crystal blue sky, a sense of serenity and excitement envelop each person.
The group sighs in relief for a day out of the office.
Energy surges and the group holds their breath as Will, the tall black thoroughbred, makes one final approach towards the jump. Will
leaps in the air, clearing the jump, fueled by the cohesive energy of the group! The group cheers and jumps in celebration at the
completion, awed by how simple a once seemingly unattainable task could be.
Just 30 minutes before, the group was assigned the task to get the horse over the jump. Like the office, a set of 5 rules are given
that must be adhered to including, no talking! As the group began to work in silence a remarkable series of events occurred:
- Frustration turns to creativity
- Personal and group strengths emerge
- Recognition and cohesiveness result in victory!
