Hunkapi Horses

Hunkapi has a working herd of 18-25 horses at all times. Our Horses are the backbone of Hunkapi and are chosen specifically for their personality, temperament, size, and athletic ability. Each horse is placed on a strict 90 day trial period to insure the horse is mentally and physically sound as well as emotionally available for our clients. Horses at both sites are cared for daily by one of our two barn managers. Their health, training, and overall care are of utmost importance to Hunkapi.

Hunkapi Horses have a myriad of personalities. Hunkapi programs focus on relationships therefore we have many different types of horse personalities to match up with our clients differing personalities. While one client may despise a certain horse, another client will find love and trust in that same horse. Hunkapi believes that it is imperative to have an assortment of horse personalities, sizes, genders, and breeds to offer our clients in order for them to have success in our program.
